To whom it may concern,
I am writing of behalf of Nomad RSI in support of the work of Cambodia Corps Inc. Nomad RSI has been operation in Mondulkiri Province since 2001, focussing on research and health programs for ethnic minority communities in the province.
I have known Mr Tommy Daniels since 2003 and have followed the work of CCi and the development of the child shelter program closely since this time.
It remains very difficult for children from rural communities in Mondulkiri to access formal education - they often have to travel long distances, many of the rural schools are inadequately serviced and families can rarely afford to send their children to study. CCi endeavours to address many of these issues through their homeless child shelter based in the provincial town, Sen Monorom. The shelter provides a very valuable service to disadvantaged children from rural areas, giving them with a safe place to stay so that they can attend school.
I fully support the work of CCi. They are an innovative organisation working well with the communities, government and the NGOs in Mondulkiri.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further clarification.
With kind regards
