Public Health Statistical Comparisons

The charts which follow depict the vast differences in Public Health needs in Mondolkiri, Ratanakiri, and occasionally other under-served provinces, relative to the capital of Phnom Penh and Cambodia nationally.

The first two charts include other countries, those with the world’s highest rates of infant and child mortality and stunting.

According to the USAID Mission in Cambodia, the Cambodia Demographic & Health Survey 2000 (CDHS) by MARCO Int’l is now the benchmark for Public Health data.  The data that follows is almost exclusively CDHS which portrays Mondolkiri and Ratanakiri as one statistical area.
